What we provide
You get a written, itemised scope of the damage and the repair. Photographs follow, taken before anyone covers anything up. Where they matter, we add moisture readings. Finally, the scope separates emergency mitigation from permanent repair. An adjuster needs exactly that documentation, and it is what makes a claim straightforward.
What we will not tell you
What your policy covers. What the carrier will pay. Or how to present a claim. Some contractors offer to handle your claim in exchange for the repair work. We will not.
Checking who you are hiring
Every Florida contractor’s licence is public record, so verify it at the Florida DBPR before anyone starts. Meanwhile, treat one offer as a warning sign. Some firms propose handling your claim in exchange for the repair work. That is a different business, and a regulated one.
Sequence
Mitigate first to stop further damage. Then document. Then agree the repair scope. Starting permanent repairs early is the most common way people lose part of a claim. Wait until the adjuster has seen the damage.
