What this covers
- Hurricane and storm damage repair.
- Water damage repair and mold remediation and rebuild.
- Insurance claim restoration, and wood rot and termite repair.
Find the cause first
Mould is a symptom. Replacing drywall without finding where the water came in guarantees you do it again, usually in the same wall. That means the roof, the window seals, the shower pan or the supply lines get checked before anything is closed up.
How storm damage repair is sequenced
Make safe, stop further water, document, then repair. Skipping the documenting step is how people lose part of a claim, and starting permanent repairs before an adjuster has seen the damage is the most common way it happens. Emergency mitigation and permanent repair are separate line items for that reason. Licence status for any contractor is public at the Florida DBPR.
If there is a claim
We document what we find, photograph it before it is covered, and give you a written scope you can hand to an adjuster. We do not negotiate your claim for you and we will not tell you what an insurer will pay.
