Pool Cage Rescreening and Rebuilds

Pool cage rescreening exists because screen has a finite life in Florida sun. It replaces the mesh and the spline in an existing frame. Where the frame is sound, it is the cheapest way to make a tired cage usable again.

Pool cage rescreening, repair, or rebuild

Three different jobs. Pool cage rescreening assumes the aluminium is fine. Repair handles individual failed members or corroded fasteners. A rebuild replaces the structure, and an engineer designs it to the Florida Building Code like any new enclosure.

We check the frame and the anchors before quoting. New mesh stretched onto a moving frame tears again at the same places within a season.

Panel by panel, or the whole cage

Replacing only the failed panels costs less. However, it leaves a visible difference in colour and tension between old and new. On a cage where most panels are original and sun-damaged, doing the lot usually beats doing it twice.

After a storm

Damage often goes beyond what tore. Check the anchors and the fasteners along the whole structure. A cage that has moved usually loosens in places the eye does not reach.

Not sure this is the right scope yet?

Most projects change shape once someone stands in the room. The walk-through is where that happens, and it costs nothing whether or not you go ahead.
